Buying as a gift? This page is for the Sony a6000 and its Sony E mount: lenses from other mounts will not fit it. Lenses were picked by their manufacturer specs, not tested by us.

A portrait lens is about two things: how tightly it frames a face, and how much background blur its widest aperture allows. On the Sony a6000's APS-C sensor the classic 85mm view needs a lens marked 57mm.

The Sony a6000 has no in-body stabilisation, so stabilisation inside the lens matters: 1 of these 20 have it (OIS, VR, IS or similar in the name).

It was priced under $500 on October 2, 2026. 20 portrait lenses qualified. Prices are read from Amazon live on the page, so check the price shown before you buy.

Do these lenses fit the Sony a6000?
