Privacy policy
FitMyLens has no accounts, no logins, and no newsletter. We never ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers.
We do run third-party analytics, and those tools do set cookies and record how pages are used. The specifics are below.
Analytics we use
Google Analytics 4 (property G-73FBHC6YSV) — aggregate traffic measurement: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are from, and which links are clicked. Your IP address is anonymised before storage. We run Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage set to denied by default for visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and California, so no analytics cookies are written for those visitors unless consent is granted. Microsoft Clarity (project xafpbyzv6d) — heatmaps and anonymised session replay, used to see where the lens tables are confusing. Clarity records page interactions such as scrolling, clicks and mouse movement, and masks text input by default. It sets its own cookies. Microsoft privacy statement
A first-party click counter. When you click through to Amazon we send one cookieless ping to our own endpoint recording that a click happened, with no identifier for you. It exists because Amazon does not report which page earned a click.
Affiliate links
Links to Amazon are affiliate links carrying our Associates tag. If you buy something we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon sets its own cookies once you land there, governed by Amazon’s privacy notice, not ours. Affiliate relationships never affect the specifications we publish or which lenses appear — the tables are manufacturer product data, verbatim.
Your choices
Blocking cookies or using a tracker-blocking extension will not break this site: every page is static and fully readable without analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on.
